High School: Two-time all-league selection for Las Lomas High School. Four-year letterwinner in both soccer and track. Was the league champion in the 400 meters in 2006. Played club soccer for the Mustang Blast, which won the 2007 California state cup, and Southern Alameda.
Personal: Born Catherine Michelle Brothers on April 7, 1989, in Walnut Creek, Calif. Parents are Roger and Angela Brothers. Two sisters. Major is undecided; interested in education.
