Ducks Fall to Huskies 2-1 on the Road

SEATTLE, Wash. - The Oregon women's soccer team fell to the Washington Huskies 2-1 on Thursday night at the Husky Soccer Stadium.
The Ducks are now at 25 goals on the season, the most since 2010 (29).
With the win, the Ducks' record moves to 8-9-1 on the season and 2-7 in Pac-12 play. Washington is 7-10-1 overall and 2-7 in the Pac-12.
How it Happened: Kimberly Keever put the Huskies on the board first in the 21st minute of play. The unassisted goal was her fourth of the year.
In the 71st minute, senior Marlo Sweatmen evened things up with her second goal of the season and fourth of her career.
With the score locked 1-1, Shaye Villanueva was able to find Becca Schoales for the Huskies' game-winning goal.
Throughout the match, both the Huskies and Ducks had eight shots - four and two on frame, respectively. Oregon and Washington both had six corner kick opportunities.
Junior Abby Morrow and sophomore Marissa Everett had added two shots for the Ducks, while Sweatman had two. Both of the Herndon, Va. native's shots were on goal.
In goal, freshman Katelyn Carter made two saves. Her record moves to 5-3-1.
