TUCSON, Ariz. – Oregon tied the match twice in the second half but it wasn't enough as the Ducks fell 5-2 to Arizona Thursday night at Mulcahy Soccer Stadium.

How It Happened: Down 1-0 at halftime, Oregon (4-6-5, 0-5-2 Pac-12) tied the match in the 51^st minute on a goal deflected in by Ally Cook. On the scoring play, Croix Soto took a free kick from midfield and Arizona goalkeeper Hope Hisey came out to play the ball, which bounced off her before Cook deflected the ball to the net.

Arizona (9-4-1, 3-3-1) regained the lead 91 second later on Jill Aguilera's second goal of the game, but Oregon answered in the 54^th minute to tie the match at 2-2.

Chai Cortez dribbled the ball up the left side and fed a perfect ball to Jordan Wormdahl who hit a left-footed one-timer to the far post for her team-leading seventh goal of the season.

Jada Talley scored the go ahead goal for the Wildcats in the 57^th minute.

Who Stood Out: Goalkeeper Katelyn Carter made a career-high nine saves.

What It Means: With two goals Thursday night, the Ducks now have 25 goals in 15 games. That's the second-best effort in program history. The 2007 squad scored 27 goals in its first 15 matches.

Notable: Wormdahl's goal moves her within one of the UO season top 10 … It was Wormdahl's first goal since Sept. 8 at Furman … Cook's goal was her fourth of the year … The assist on Wormdahl's goal was the second of the year for Cortez.
