Before Oregon: Established a lifetime best of 60.27m/197-9 while competing for Colorado Mesa as a freshman…first 60-meter measure of his career; also threw 60.23m during the series at the Kit Mayer Classic (April 7)…runner-up in the javelin at the 2023 RMAC Championships with a day’s best of 58.83 during the first round of competition…prepped at Newberg (Ore.) HS where he was a two-time state qualifier; finished sixth as a senior…2022 6A-3 Pacific Conference champion (194-9), won the event by more than 20 feet.
