Returns for second and final season for Ducks in 2005 as league scoring threat in 200 and 400 and All-American on 4x400 relay outdoors in '04. Among collegiate returnees, stands eighth in Pac-10 and region and 39th nationally in 400 based on '04 season bests. Jumped to ninth all-time for the Ducks in the 200 with his junior season best (21.17). Is only .09 seconds shy of Oregon's all-time top-10 list in 400 with 10th at 46.83. Needs to run outdoor times of 21.19 and 47.26 in 200 and 400, respectively, to earn regional invites as a senior. Was a teammate of fellow transfer and first-year Duck middle distance runner Roderick Dotts at Barton Community College in 2001-02 and 2002-03.
2003-2004: All-American (4x400). Joined team in early weeks of outdoor season, and quickly cemented himself as one of the top members of an already heavily talented sprint corps. Helped Ducks to fourth All-America honor in 4x400 (fifth, 3:03.88) and passed three competitors early in his third leg and held position rest of way. Two days before in the prelims, the Ducks ran their second-fastest time ever to advance to NCAA final (second-heat / sixth-overall, 3:03.73) - and matched their pre-meet seeding. The squad earned their NCAA invite in the West Regional with one of four automatic invites as Inico ran an unofficial 45.4-second third-leg split (third, 3:03.93). In the first championship stop - the Pac-10 Conference finale - the unit took second (3:03.49) in a 2.51-second school record. Altogether at outdoor season’s end, the relay unit ranked seventh overall nationally at 3:03.49. Individually, he ended season with appearance in the West Regional 400 (14th-prelims, 47.28). Two weeks before in Pac-10 Championships, ran a personal best in the 200 preliminary round (second-heat, sixth-overall, 21.17, w:0.0), and ran his second-fastest 200 ever the next night in the final (sixth, 21.19, w:0.0) - four places better than his pre-meet seed. Scored for Ducks in the Pepsi Invite in mid-April both the 200 (third, 21.47) and 400 (fourth, 47.43) and ran on second-place 4x400 (3:11.38). In other home races, ran a windy then-personal best in the Oregon Invitational (third, 21.20w w:2.9), notched personal best in Oregon Twilight 400 win (46.92) and ran unattached in mid-March’s Oregon Preview (second, 47.33). Debuted with Ducks officially in 4x400 in early April’s Texas Relays (eighth, 3:08.51) with an unofficial 45.9 anchor split. In second stop as an individual, finished second in Mt. SAC Relays university section (47.15) behind teammate Travis Anderson (47.08). At season's end, honored with fellow 4x400 relay members with team’s Perry Holloman Most Improved Award with Travis Anderson, Brandon Holliday, and Matt Scherer.
