One of three freshmen that ran in UO's cross country top seven in fall of 2004. Could run either the 5,000 or 10,000 on the track for the Ducks in 2005. Former Nevada state champion in cross country as a senior in fall of 2003.
Fall 2004: One of only two Ducks to run all five races of the cross country season. Ranked second for ?B’ unit in Pier Park Preview in early September (12th, 21:28). Ran in varsity’s top seven in remaining four races, including sixth on unit in West Regional (94th, 33:11). Stood seventh on squad in three other races - the Stanford Invitational (46th, 4K-12:54), Pre-NCAA Invitational (199th, 26:16) and Pacific-10 Championships (68th, 26:49).
Prep: Nevada cross country state champion as a senior, and regional champion as a sophomore, junior and senior. Lettered all four seasons in cross country and track. Honor student. High School (Coach): Chaparral '04 (Allen Hanson).
