2007: Valuable player either at forward or in the midfield. Hoping for a big improvement between her freshman and sophomore years. Development has been slowed by injuries.
2006: Saw action in 14 games with one start. Lone goal of the season came versus Idaho. Attempted eight shots, five on goal. Most of her playing time came in the midfield.
High School: Led Lake Oswego High School to two consecutive Three Rivers League titles and was the conference’s player of the year in 2005. Two-time all-state selection and a four-time all-conference pick. Played for the Lake Oswego Soccer Club and led that squad to three state championships. A state and regional Olympic Development Program player.
Personal: Born Megan Hilary Watson on Oct. 23, 1987, in Portland, Ore. Parents are James and Marsha Watson. One of six siblings, has four brothers and one younger sister. Older brother Joe played baseball at Portland. Interested in a career in education and coaching. Major is undeclared.
