Returns as team's second-fastest entry in 800 (2:10.55) and third-fastest in 1,500 (4:35.78) based on 2002's season bests and was a Pac-10 qualifier in both. Emerged as dependable scorer in first extensive varsity duty in fall of 2001.
2002-03: Redshirted track and cross country seasons after spending summer and fall of 2002 studying in Spain. Suffered stress fracture during indoor season, and saw limited action outdoors in her rehab. Rabbited several middle-distance races at home outdoors, and also competed unattached in Oregon Preview to open outdoor slate (1,500, fourth, 4:49.03).
2001-02: Pac-10 Qualifier (800 / 1,500). Outdoors, ranked second on team in 800 with personal best from Nebraska Quad (first, 2:10.55) and notched her first Pac-10 qualifier in the event. Lowered her 1,500 best in Washington Dual to current best (third, 4:35.78). In cross country, stepped up as reliable scorer with points in five of six appearances, including fourth on squad in Pac-10 (46th, 23:35) and NCAA Western Regional (81st, 24:08) debuts. Also ranked top five on team in Sundodger (44th, 18:39), Willamette (36th, 18:33) and Furman Invites (156th, 23:52). Pac-10 All-Academic Honorable Mention selection.
2000-01: Pac-10 Competitor (1,500). Competed in Pac-10 Championships 1,500 as Ducks' right of entry selection (11th, 4:48.77). Ran 800 at seven contests during season and broke 2:13 at three meets ? Oregon Twilight (second, 2:12.68), Mt. SAC Relays (fourth-heat, 2:13.06) and Stanford Invitational (fourth-heat, 2:12.45). Missed Pac-10 qualifying mark in the 1,500 by less than a second in her season debut in the event at the Steve Scott Invitational (4:40.86). Won collegiate outdoor debut at Linfield Icebreaker (2:15.87) in March, and added runner-up honors against Huskies in annual dual meet in April (2:14.89). In cross country, raced at opening three meets of season, and finished seventh on squad twice -- Pier Park Preview (21st, 21:05) and Willamette Invite (34th, 18:50).
Prep: Finished second on the track in the 800 at the 4A state finale in the 800 as a junior (2:15.18) and senior (2:14.24), and another third-place finish to her credit. At the district level, claimed three individual titles on the track. In cross country, she finished 13th as a senior at state 4A meet (19:52) to key St. Mary's to a sixth-place team finish. As a junior, finished 82nd at state cross country meet as squad took ninth. As a sophomore, was a member of state team champion cross country squad. Owned cross country 5K best of 19:00.
