2022-23: Indoor – rebounded from a no-height effort at season-opening Cougar Classic with make at 4.79m/15-8.5 at the Texas Tech Open…back over 16 feet with a 4.89m/16-0.5 clearance, runner-up performance at the Don Kirby Invitational…established a lifetime best of 5.03m/16-6 at Ken Shannon Invitational in indoor finale; finished ninth at the meet. Outdoor – runner-up at the Oregon Twilight, getting over 4.95m/16-2.75 at the team’s home opener…matched height in a fifth-place finish at Mt. SAC Relays (April 15); clearance represents his outdoor best…finished in 12th place in debut at Pac-12 Championships, posting a day’s best of 4.82m/15-9.75 at the conference meet.
2021-22: Indoor – recorded first 16-foot clearance in an Oregon kit with 4.90m/16-0.75 victory at the Windy City Invite (Feb. 12)…followed up with 4.83m/15-10 make at the Pac-12 Invitational; finished in 10th place overall. Outdoor – runner-up at the Titan Invitational with a first-attempt clearance of 4.81 meters, finishing behind teammate Harrison Canfield…top-10 finishes at the OSU High Performance, Oregon Twilight…cleared 4.61m/15-1.5 to finish third at the Twilight home meet.
2020-21: Indoor – did not compete. Outdoor – made debut at the SDSU Aztec Invitational (March 27) with a 4.45m/14-7.25 clearance, good for 10th place…followed with a season-best make of 4.60m/15-1 at the Hayward Premiere…added a second 15-foot clearance (4.59m/15-0.75) at OSU HP meet in Corvallis…capped freshman season with a runner-up effort of 4.50m/15-9 at the Oregon Twilight.
Before Oregon: 2018 HHSAA state champion in the pole vault as a sophomore…two-time state runner-up (2017, ’19)…back-to-back league champion in 2018 and 2019…won the 2018 ILH Championships with a prep-best clearance of 16-0…won 16 of 18 competitions dating back to start of sophomore season.
