2006: One of only three seniors on the squad to provide leadership for Oregon’s large sophomore and freshman classes. Recorded a goal and an assist in spring finale versus Western Oregon.
2005: Came off the bench to appear in 11 games. Attempted lone shot of the season versus California. Earned Pac-10 all-academic honorable mention for the second straight season.
2004: Reserve who played in 18 games (two starts). Attempted four shots on the season. Pac-10 all-academic honorable mention.
2003: Played eight games ? second-most among UO freshmen ? including six in the Pac-10 slate and all three of the Ducks’ wins.
High School: Led the team in scoring her first three seasons. Was a Humboldt-Del Norte League first-team selection as a freshman, sophomore and junior, and again started at center midfielder as a senior. At the club level, she played on the Humboldt Myst U-17 class 1 squad, and was a guest player on the Sonoma United Alliance U-18 class I team. She also played on the U-14 Northern California (North Bay) District V Olympic Development Program one season. In the summer of 2002, she traveled with the NorCal International Soccer Academy on a tour of England, and squad MVP and captain.
Personal: Born Rachel Paige Grushkin on Aug. 7, 1985 in Eureka, Calif. Parents are Allan and Nancy Grushkin. One brother. Psychology major with a minor in business administration.
