The four-time All-American in the 800 meters is one of Oregon's most accomplished national level performers after her first two collegiate seasons, and continues to build off a record-breaking high school career. In June 2006, became first collegiate freshman to win the NCAA 800m women's outdoor title with her personal best (2:02.07), and her time ranks fifth all-time among U.S. juniors and fourth on the Duck all-time list behind a trio of fellow top-two NCAA finishers (including two Olympians and a U.S. champion). In Beijing, China in August 2006, won USA's first medal in the World Junior Championships women's 800m (third, 2:04.72) after she won her second straight U.S. junior title that summer. Indoors, is a two-time NCAA runner-up and ranks second all-time for UO in the 800m with her time from the latter collegiate finale (2:04.70). Has also run on UO's two fastest distance medley relays (11:16.05, 11:18.29). In cross country has ranked top seven for UO in all four of her cross country races in 2005 and '06. As a prep, was a high school All-American and five-time Washington state track and field champion (400-3, 800-2), and a two-time top-10 state cross country finisher. Her 800m high school best from the 2005 U.S. Junior Championships (first, 2:03.73) ranked ninth all-time on the U.S. high school list and was the fastest clocking in more than 20 years.
2006-07: NCAA Indoor Runner-up (800m) / Outdoor All-American (800m). Outdoors, repeated All-America honors in NCAA 800m (eighth, 2:04.79) in one of the fastest, deepest NCAA fields in history. During regular season led team in 800m and 1,500m and ranked top-10 nationally outdoors in both (third, 2:03.22; ninth, 4:17.43). Was an NCAA outdoor automatic qualifier thanks to her West Regional runner-up 800m finish (2:04.95). Early in campaign, logged a breakthrough 7.06-personal best in the 1,500m in the Stanford Invitational in March. Indoors, repeated runner-up honors in NCAA Championships 800m thanks to her personal best (2:04.70) ? and placed four places better than her pre-meet seeding. Earlier in season, added an 800m leg on indoor distance medley relay that moved to second all-time for UO (11:18.29) and won Mountain Pacific Championships and ranked 17th on NCAA provisional qualifying list. Also ran legs on indoor 4x400m relays in the Mountain Pacific Championships (second overall, 3:37.48) and Tyson Invitational (third overall, 3:38.92) that ranked first and second in school history. Combined on another 4x400m relay outdoors that won the Pepsi Team Invitational (3:36.07) and moved to third all-time for UO and was the Ducks' fastest since 1995. Altogether in individual action, competed in 16 races indoors and outdoors (Outdoors - 800m 8; 1,500m 3; Indoors - 800m 4; Mile 1). Among those races, broke 2:05.00 in six 800m outdoor contests, and also did so twice indoors. Claimed three wins in the 800m and another in the 1,500m during outdoor regular season. Raced twice for UO in cross country and stood top six on unit in Pac-10 Championships (42nd, 22:04) and West Regional (49th, 22:44). Personal/Season Bests: Outdoors - 800 meters - 2:03.22, Oregon Invitational, Eugene (4/21/07); 1,500 meters - 4:17.43 (PR), Stanford Invitational, Stanford (3/31/07). 2005-06: NCAA Champion (800 meters-Outdoors) / NCAA Runner-up (800 meters-Indoors). Maximized her performances in various middle distance events from start to finish in a lengthy, eight-month racing cycle from January-August. Ended outdoor season with classic come-from-behind win in NCAA final for a .78-second personal best (2:02.07). In weeks prior, won 800m titles in Pac-10 and NCAA West Regional Championships (2:05.81 / 2:06.45), and also ran 1,500m for Ducks in Pac-10 Championships (ninth, 4:30.19). At the end of the collegiate season, Noble was part of a trio of freshmen that included Michigan's Geena Gall and Minnesota's Dorniden that ranked first, second (2:02.73) and third (2:02.77) on the season best list. Indoors, Noble fought through traffic in the final lap of the NCAA Championships 800m to finish second by only .08 seconds (2:05.72) to Dorniden. In late January, ran her indoor best to win the University of Washington Invitational (2:04.72) - a mark that was the fastest on the collegiate season best list. Altogether, competed in 17 individual races outdoors (400m-1, 800m-13, 1,500m-3), and five 800m races indoors and three indoor distance medley relays (800m leg - 2 / 1,600m leg - 1)). Not including prelims races, she won all five of her outdoor 800m races during the collegiate outdoor season, and won three of her four indoor contests. In cross country, she started her fall training later than the rest of the squad after a long summer track season, and raced in the cross country team’s top seven the second half of the season. Ranked sixth on unit in NCAA West Regional (63rd, 21:57) as team took fourth. As a senior in 2005, stepped into prep national record books with her three-second 800m personal best winning time from the USA Junior Championships in Carson Calif., in late June (2:03.73) - a time that ranked her ninth all-time on the U.S. high school list.
