3-Time All-American
NCAA All-American for Oregon’s national runner-up cross country and track and field teams. Pac-10 runner-up at 10,000 meters for the 2010 league champions. 2009 Top distance newcomer impressed with a seventh-place finish at 10,000 meters in the 2009 NCAA Championships. Went on to compete in the USA Track & Field Championships at that distance. Qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships at both 3,000 and 5,000 meters. Earned All-America status at the 2008 NCAA Cross Country Championships with an impressive closing 200 meters to claim the 40th and final All-America spot. One of three UO women to garner All-America status; the first time that’s happened since 1987. Joined the Ducks after qualifying individually in both the NCAA Cross Country and NCAA Outdoor Track and Field championships at Eastern Washington.
2009-10: Outdoors - Ranked 13th nationally at 10,000 meters. Key performer at the Pac-10 meet, where she was the league's runner-up at 10,000 meters where she ran a seasonal-best 33:38.79. Also scored in the 5,000, placing sixth in 16:26.65, another seasonal-best. Two weeks later at the NCAA West Regional, ran ninth in the 10,000 meters in 34:34.79 to advance to the national final in Eugene. At the NCAA Championships, took 14th in 33:43.64. Ran first 10,000 meters of the season at the Stanford Invitational (34:30.70). Took third in the 5,000 meters at the Pepsi Team Invitational two weeks later (16:41.07). Was third in the 5,000 meters at the Oregon Relays (16:17.65). Had a personal best in the 1,500 meters at the Oregon Twilight (4:25.04). ESPN the Magazine Dicstrict 8 all-academic first team selection. Pac-10 all-academic first team selection. Indoors - An NCAA qualifier at both 3,000 and 5,000 meters. Opened season Jan. 30 with a third place finish in the 3,000 meters at the Texas A&M Challenge in 9:25.52, an NCAA provisional mark. Two weeks later, clocked an all-conditions personal best in the 5,000 meters at the UW Indoor Invitational, running an NCAA automatic qualifying time of 16:02.48. That mark ranks third all-time indoors at Oregon. Helped Oregon win its first MPSF title by taking third in the 3,000 meters in a season-best 9:25.20. At the NCAA Indoor Championships, ran 15th in the 5,000 meters in 16:51.48 to earn her third career All-America award. 2008-09: All-American in cross country and at 10,000 meters. Made a claim as the women’s team’s top distance newcomer of the year by qualifying for all three NCAA Championships, and scoring for both Oregon’s national runner-up cross country and track and field teams. Indoors, set personal bests in the 3,000 meters (9:17.49) and 5,000 meters (16:09.29) to qualify for both events at the NCAA Indoor Championships. Time in the 5,000 ranks as the third-best indoor mark in school history. Outdoors, set personal bests at 5,000 and 10,000 meters, and scored at 10,000 meters at both the NCAA and Pac-10 championship meets. Early season sixth-place run at 10,000 meters at the Stanford Invitational vaulted her to sixth on the UO career lists (33:37.73). Set an outdoor PR at 5,000 meters in winning the Pepsi Team Invitational (16:26.21) to help Oregon take the team title. In the championships season, finished fifth in the 10,000 meters (35:30.96) to score for the Ducks first Pac-10 champions in 17 years. Ran seventh in the 5,000 (16:31.96) at the NCAA West Regional. Strong run in the 10,000 meters at the NCAA Championships where she placed seventh in 34:18.20. Capped year with a 19th-place finish in the 10,000 at the USA Track & Field Championships (34:10.51). In the fall, was among Oregon’s scoring five in every cross country appearance. One of the highlights of the season came when she passed a dozen runners in the final 200 meters to finish 40th at the NCAA Championships (20:43.6) and claim her first career All-America honors. Was the Ducks’ third runner to cross the line as she helped Oregon finish second at the NCAA Championships for the second year in a row. Placed 13th overall and third among Oregon runners at the NCAA West Regional (20:21.70). Was the fifth Duck to cross the line at the Pac-10 Championships, where she ran 15th overall (20:41.43). Placed seventh at the Bill Dellinger Invitational (20:54.19) and helped the Ducks win the event as the team’s No. 4 runner. Before Oregon: 2007 NCAA individual national qualifier in cross country and a 2008 NCAA West Regional qualifier in the 5,000 meters for Eastern Washington. At the 2008 Big Sky Championships, finished second in the 5,000 meters (17:30.10) and third at 10,000 meters (36:58.52). Went on to a ninth-place showing in the 5,000 at the NCAA West Regional (16:51.90). Ran a season-best 16:33.60 in the 5,000 meters at the 2008 Oregon Relays. Clocked season-best 4:32.21 in the 1,500 meters at the Steve Scott Invitational. Finished fifth at the 2007 Big Sky Cross Country Championships with a time of 17:58.6. Advanced to the NCAA West Regional, where she placed 20th with a time of 21:01.35 to move on to the 2007 NCAA Championships. There, she was 64th overall with a time of 21:16.3. 2008 Big Sky all-academic selection. In 2006 cross country season, finished fifth at the EWU Invitational with a time of 19:00.90. Placed 12th at the Big Sky Championships (18:15.80). Redshirted the 2007 indoor season. Season best time in the outdoor 5,000 meters of 17:07.31 came at the Oregon Invitational. Netted season best in the 1,500 meters (4:45.02) at the Mt. Sac. Relays. At the 2007 Big Sky Championships, finished seventh in the 5,000 meters (18:08.21) and fourth in the 10,000 meters (career-best 37:56.81). Big Sky all-academic in cross country (2006) as well as indoor and outdoor track and field (2007). In her first year at EWU (2005-06), was an NCAA Regional qualifier in cross country. Finished 12th in the indoor 5,000 meters (19.48.90) at the Big Sky Championships. Ran a season best in the 3,000 (10:37.88) at the University of Washington Invitational. Redshirted the 2006 outdoor season. Big Sky all-academic cross country and indoors.
