Returns ranked fourth for Ducks in long jump and triple jump, respectively. As a redshirt freshman needs to jump 24-1 and 49-5 3/4 outdoors in 2005 to earn regional invites.
2004-05: Competed outdoors once and ranked second on team in triple jump (45-0 1/2). Indoors, competed in long jump twice and ranked third on squad (22-3 3/4) with same mark in both appearances. Personal/Seasonal Bests: Outdoors ? Triple Jump ? 13.73m (45-0 1/2) (w:0.0), Oregon Invitational, Eugene, Ore. (4/23/05). Indoors ? Long Jump ? 6.80m (22-3 3/4), two occasions.
2003-2004 (Redshirted): Did not compete for Ducks in 2003-2004 season, but competed unattached in several Pacific Northwest meets. Outdoors, competed in Pepsi Team Invite mini-meet (third, 21-5 3/4 w:1.8). Ended outdoor slate ranked fourth and fifth on team, respectively. Indoors, long jumped a season best 21-7 1/4 in the NCAA Last Chance Qualifier in Seattle in March, and triple jumped a season best in the Husky Indoor Preview (third, 45-9 1/4) - and ranked third and fourth on Duck season best lists, respectively. Personal/Seasonal Bests: Outdoors ? Long Jump - 6.55m (21-5 3/4), w:1.8, Pepsi Mini Meet, Eugene , Ore. (4/10/04). Indoors ? Triple Jump - 13.95m (45-9 1/4) (I-PR), Husky Preview, Seattle (1/17/04). Long Jump - 6.58m (21-7 1/4), NCAA Qualifier, Seattle (3/6/04).
Prep: Was selected captain of squad in both track and field and cross country. Named San Jose Mercury News Athlete of the Week and Silver Creek High School Most Outstanding Senior. Veteran of National Junior Olympics. Also played power forward for hoops squad. Received several scholarships, including Women for Positive Communication Scholarship, Alvin Haymond Scholarship, Hampton-Phillips Track Scholarship, Daniel Malonie Scholarship, Governors Scholarship. High School (Coach): Silver Creek '03 (Charles Bean).
