State of Oregon native was one of two U.S. Olympic Trials women’s javelin throwers on the roster. Three-time Pac-10 scorer in the javelin and a 2007 NCAA Championships qualifier in the event. Enters senior season ranked sixth all-time for UO in the javelin (166-8).
2008-09: NCAA Championships qualifier and Pac-10 scorer in the javelin. Outdoors - Best career season in the javelin was cut short due to a knee injury at the NCAA West Regional. Opened year with first career win and a personal-best throw of 172-2/52.49m at the Oregon Preview. That throw moved her to No. 3 on the UP career list. Consistent performances at the Stanford Invitational (165-9/50.52m) and Pepsi Team Invitational (165-8/50.49m) where she placed third and second, respectively. Also the runner-up at the Oregon Relays with a throw of 165-3/50.36m. Placed third at the Pac-10 Championships with a distance of 164-0/49.99m. Injury on throw that took eighth at the NCAA West Regional (151-4/46.12m) qualified her for the NCAA Championships, but had to withdraw due to the severity if the injury. 2007-08: U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier in the javelin. Also scored at the Pac-10 meet and was an NCAA Regional qualifier in the javelin. After earning three team points for the Ducks with a sixth-place finish at the Pac-10 Championships (156-7), wrapped up junior campaign by making her first U.S. Olympic Team Trials appearance. Placed third in the javelin in her first four meets of the season, the Oregon Preview, the Sacramento State Invitational, the Mt. SAC Relays and the Oregon Relays. Season-best throw came at the Pac-10 meet. Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention. Season Bests: Outdoors - Javelin - 156-7, Pac-10 Championships, Tempe, Ariz. (5/17/08).
2006-07: NCAA qualifier and Pac-10 scorer in the javelin. Made NCAA Championships debut after opening the postseason slate with a third-place finish in the Pac-10 Championships and a fifth-place regional effort. Topped preseason personal best twice in the first five meets of the season, the Clif Bar ASU Invitational and Oregon Invitational. Threw personal-best 166-8 that ranks as the sixth-best javelin toss at Oregon at the Clif Bar ASU Invitational. Closed season with USA Championships debut. Season Bests: Outdoors - Javelin - 166-8, Clif Bar ASU Invitational, Tempe, Ariz. (3/24/07).
2005-06: Pac-10 scorer in the javelin. Was one of four Ducks that scored top-eight Pac-10 Championships javelin finishes (fifth, 150-0). Topped 150-foot stripe in three other contests, the West Regional (seventh, 156-8), USA Junior Championships (third, 150-5) and Trojan Invitational (third, 150-11). Opened season with runner-up finish in the Oregon Preview (148-5), and added three other third-place finishes. Season Bests: Outdoors - Javelin - 156-8, NCAA West Regional, Provo, Utah (5/26/06).
Prep: All-American. Capped prep career in 2005 USA Junior Championships (fifth, 146-11). Claimed the Oregon 3A state title as a senior (143-11) and junior (140-8), and added fourth as a sophomore (129-7). As a junior, stood third in Oregon (149-4) with her winning mark from Oregon-Washington Meet of Champions.
