The All-American and the former school record-holder in the 3,000 meter steeplechase returns after receiving a sixth year of eligibility from the NCAA. Was a Pac-10 scorer in the steeple in 2006. Indoors that season, ran 1,200-meter and 1,600-meter legs on several of UO’s record-setting distance medley relays, which ultimately finished seventh in the 2006 NCAA Indoor Championships. Former Canadian Junior 800 meter champion in 2003. Won bronze medal in 2,000 meter steeplechase in the 2005 Canada Summer Games.
2007-08: Outdoors - Received a second redshirt for the outdoor season from the NCAA due to medical hardship. NCAA Regional and Pac-10 qualifier in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. Set a personal best in the event, 10:28.53, at the Stanford Invitational. That marks ranks No.2 all-time at Oregon. Placed second at the Pepsi Team Invitational in 10:31.22. After the Pac-10 meet, wrapped career with a seventh place finish at the NCAA West Regional (10:30.15). Indoors - Competed at the UW Invitational and the Husky Classic. Pac-10 all-academic honorable mention. Season Bests: 10:28.53 (PR), Stanford Invitational, Stanford, Calif. (3/27/09).
2006-07: Received a medical redshirt outdoors. Indoors, ranked second-fastest on the team in the mile based on season bests and was a member of the distance medley relay that won the Mountain Pacific Championships in the second-fastest time in UO history. In fall, led cross county team in three of four races, including the West Regional (20th). Ranked second on squad in the Pac-10 Championships and scored second straight top-20 finish (19th). Pac-10 All-Academic Cross Country honorable mention. Season Bests: Outdoors - 800 Meters - 2:15.24, Oregon Preview, Eugene, Ore. (3/17/07); 1,500 Meters - 4:31.97, Stanford Invitational, Stanford, Calif. (3/31/07). Indoors - Mile - 4:49.29, UW Indoor Invitational, Seattle, Wash. (1/27/07).
2005-06: All-American on Oregon’s distance medley relay team. Placed fourth in the Pac-10 Championships 3,000 meter steeplechase (10:35.59). Indoors, ran 1,600-meter anchor on All-America distance medley in the NCAA Championships (seventh, 11:18.89). Also ran on school record DMR in season debut in UW Invitational (second, 11:22.81) and Mountain Pacific Championships (second, 11:16.05). In cross country, scored four, top-five finishes on team and led team in the West Regional. Season Bests: Outdoors - 1,500 Meters - 4:23.88 (PR), Stanford Invitational, Stanford, Calif. (4/1/06); 3,000 Meter Steeplechase - 10:33.77, Pepsi Team Invitational, Eugene, Ore. (4/8/06). Indoors - Mile - 4:44.58 (PR), NCAA Last Chance Qualifier, Seattle, Wash. (3/4/06).
Before Oregon: In 2005, while competing for the University of Hawaii, finished ninth in West Regional 1,500 meters (4:27.10) after she placed top six in the WAC Championships (1,500 meters, sixth; 3,000 meter steeplechase, third). Indoors, ran a school record in the WAC Championships mile (fourth, 4:53.35). As a freshman in 2004, ran school records in the West Regional 800 meters (15th, 2:13.27) and 1,500 meters (11th, 4:32.20 / 4:28.67). In WAC Championships, took fourth in the 1,500 meters (4:31.11) and ran on winning 4x400 meter relay team. 2004 Canadian National Championships finalist in 800 meters. Academic All-WAC Conference and Academic All-American.
Prep: Also took bronze in 2002 Canadian junior 800 meters. Placed top three in 2003 Ontario high school provincial 400 meters and 800 meters.
