One of four upperclassman returnees on the UO women's distance squad in 2006-07. Attended University of Oregon her first two years of college (2003-04, '04-05), but did not compete at the varsity level, and instead ran for the UO Running Club.
2005-06: One of six newcomers on the vastly-improved Duck women's distance squad that finished top four in the Pac-10 and West Regional Championships in cross country. Competed in four track and field races outdoors (1,500m - 2; 3,000m - 1; 5,000m - 1). Did not race indoors. In cross country, made Duck debut in Willamette Invitational (94th, 19:18). Finished fifth overall in her next race, the Beaver Classic in Corvallis, in 6K harrier personal best (22:55.92). Personal/Season Bests: Outdoors - 1,500 meters - 4:51.43 (PR), Western Oregon Twilight, Monmouth, Ore. (4/28/06); 3,000 meters - 10:37.73, Oregon Preview, Eugene, Ore. (3/18/06); 5,000 meters - 18:28.51 (PR), Oregon Twilight, Eugene, Ore. (5/5/06).
Before Oregon: Ran personal bests in 1,500m (4:53) and 5,000m (18:58-road) outdoors in 2005.
Prep: Notched best state cross country effort as a freshman (18th) in 1999 as team placed 10th, and also won the Midwestern league title and competed in the Border Clash (29th) that season. Ran two other 4A Oregon state cross country meets, and finished 77th as a sophomore in 2000 as her South High School team took fifth. Added 54th as a senior in 2002 state finale as the squad took second. Owned prep best of 2:26 in the 800 meters and a cross country best of 19:28 (5,000m).
