Joined Duck jumps corps in middle of 2006 winter term, and one of several freshman additions. Four-time combined top-eight state prep finisher in the long jump and triple jump and also once in the 4x100-meter relay.
Prep: Competed in Oregon 4A State Championships as a senior in 2005 in the long jump (third, 22-11 3/4w, w:4.0), triple jump (eighth, 43-4 3/4, w:-1.4) and 4x100-meter relay (sixth, 43.52). In 2005 season-end state rankings, stood fourth overall in the long jump with his season and personal best of 22-11 3/4. As junior, also competed in state meet in long jump (fourth, 21-10w, w:3.0) and triple jump (seventh, 43-1 1/4, w:0.7). Won district titles in the long jump in 2004 and '05, and also in the triple jump in '04.
