One of team's most experienced sprinters and hurdlers, after she ranked second on the team in the 400-meter hurdles in 2006 (61.54) and also stands second among returnees in 2006-07. Her freshman season personal best (61.3) is barely a quarter-second shy of UO's all-time list (10th is 61.03). Ranked 11th in the Pac-10 in the 400m hurdles as a redshirt sophomore in 2006. As a prep for North Eugene High School, was an Oregon 4A state 300m hurdles champion and three-time top-three state finisher in the event.
2005-06: Pac-10 Qualifier (400m Hurdles). Outdoors, clocked four of her fastest five career times in the 400m hurdles to end the season. Wrapped up campaign with her second Pac-10 appearance (10th-prelims, 62.20p), and missed final by only .42 seconds. Broke 62.00 seconds three times in the final month of the regular season in the Oregon Twilight (first, 61.54), Western Oregon Twilight (second, 61.90) and Pepsi Team Invitational (second, 61.71). Altogether, ran eight contests outdoors (100m - 1, 400m Hurdles - 7) and three races indoors (200m - 1, 400m - 2). 2004-05: Redshirted outdoor season. Indooors, competed in three meets in the 400 and 800 meters. Ranked fourth on team in the 800 meters (2:20.72) in her first collegiate efforts, and also stood fifth on team in the 400 meters (60.26). Personal/Seasonal Bests: Indoors – 400 meters - 60.26, Mountain Pacific Championships, Seattle (2/25/05); 800 meters - 2:20.72 (PR), Holiday Inn Invitational, Boise, Idaho (2/12/05).
2003-2004: Pac-10 Qualifier (400m Hurdles). Capped freshman season with Pac-10 Championships debut in 400m hurdles (sixth-heat, 12th-prelims, 62.46) - only .23 seconds off her fully-automatic-timed (FAT) then-personal best from mid-April (62.23). Overall, ran five 400m hurdle races, and ran sub-63.00 seconds in four efforts. Ran then-personal best in her second 400m hurdle race ever in the Long Beach State Invitational (third, 62.23), then improved in the regular season finale in the Oregon Twilight (third, 61.3h) - a mark that ranked her third on the squad behind a pair of Pac-10 scorers. Also ran the 100m hurdles once (Pepsi Invite, seventh, 15.84), and topped the field in her only open 400m of the year in March's Oregon Preview (58.98). Ranked second among Pac-10 freshmen and 10th overall in the 400m hurdles on the season best list - and was less than a second off regional qualifying mark (60.82). Indoors, ran two 400-meter races, with a season best in the Bodybuilding.com Invitational (fifth, 59.49), and also competed in the Husky Indoor Preview 200m (eighth, 27.06). Prep: Owned prep best of 43.95 in 300m hurdles and 58.75 in 400. Ended her high school career with a state title in the 300-meter hurdles (43.95a) in the 2003 4A state championships, after placing third (45.34) as a junior in 2002, and second (44.15) as a sophomore in 2001. Also was a state placer in the 400m (seventh, 58.75) as a sophomore. Lettered four years in track, three years at various positions in soccer and one year as a point guard in basketball. Was a first-team all-league selection as a sophomore defender and junior midfielder, and second-team pick as a senior midfielder. Was involved in student leadership as the ASB secretary.
