2006-07: Competed for Ducks in various middle distance races. Over the course of the outdoor season, competed in four meets in the 800m (3) and 1,500m (1). Did not race indoors. Personal / Season Bests: Outdoors ? 800m ? 1:54.67 (PR), Pepsi Team Invitational, Eugene, Ore. (4/7/07); 1,500m ? 3:57.83 (PR), Oregon Twilight, Eugene, Ore. (5/7/07).
Prep: As senior, placed fourth in the Oregon 4A state championships 800m (season best 1:55.73). Also competed in state track finale as a junior (800m, 12th-prelims, 1:57.73). State cross country qualifier in cross country as a senior (73rd, 17:36) and sophomore (99th, 17:14) and helped team to ninth- and 16th-place finishes, and also ran as an individual as a junior in ’04 (87th, 17:25). Owned following prep bests:400m ? 50.2, 800m ? 1:54, 1,500m ? 4:04. Two-time all-league pick in cross country. Four-time letterwinner in track and cross country, and a one-time letterwinner in soccer as a defender. Off the track, was chosen DECA chapter president, National Honor Society treasurer, and school’s Marketing Student of the Year. High School (Coach): Clackamas ?06 (Randy Walruff).
Personal: Pre-Business major, with interest in marketing.
