Three-time Pac-10 scorer and two-time NCAA outdoor qualifier and top-five regional placer in the pole vault outdoors. Enters her senior season in 2006-07 ranked third all-time for Ducks outdoors (13-7 3/4) behind a pair of former UO greats - NCAA champion Becky Holliday (14-8, 2003) and multiple All-American Niki McEwen (13-11 1/4, 2003). Indoors for Oregon, her preseason best (12-11 1/2) ranks her fifth all-time behind a quartet of NCAA qualifiers. Carries on Duck tradition in event that has produced one NCAA title, nine All-America honors and 20 NCAA appearances since it was added to the NCAA Championships in 1998. Entered collegiate career with prep best of 12-7, and hiked that mark by 7 1/4 inches as a first-year collegian in ‘04 (13-2 1/4). As a junior in 2006, she cleared 13 feet four times and posted six of the top 11 outdoor marks in her career (and seven that have come in Pac-10/Regional/NCAA Championships action). Competed on first U.S. national team squad in 2006 in the North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Championships, in Santa Domingo in the Dominican Republic in July.
2005-06: NCAA Outdoor Qualifier (Pole Vault). Capped outdoor season with her key finishes for Ducks in the nation's toughest conference and regional and was rewarded with her second NCAA invitation. Topped her preseason personal best (13-2 1/4) by 5 1/2 inches in the NCAA West Regional (third, 13-7 3/4) to earn NCAA bid, and two weeks later matched her highest height in the collegiate finale prelims (22nd-tie, 12-9 1/2). In mid-May at home in the Pac-10 Championships, placed fifth (13-1 1/2) in field that featured 12 vaulters that had cleared 13 feet in '06 and two others with season bests that were a half-inch shy (12-11 1/2). After the regional meet, she ranked in a four-way tie for eighth place on the outdoor collegiate season best list (13-7 3/4).
